Coach PD - Ben Eoin, Martock & Wentworth

Jenni Stielow, Senior Manager of Coach Education will be supporting the coaches and athletes at the upcoming Ben Eoin Ski Cross camp & race.
“Jennifer Stielow comes with a rare combination of international sport-specific expertise through her time with USSA, the British Ski Academy and Australian Paralympic team. This sport-specific experience, combined with a background in education and curriculum design, will enhance our coach education department greatly. Jennifer Stielow’s skill set is ideal for Alpine Canada and will provide the expertise needed to help our organization get to the next level.”

Additionally Greg Frechette, Manager of Coach Education for Alpine Canada will be running PD sessions at both Martock and Wentworth. “Coaching for 27 years having gotten my start at Martock. Originally from and now living in Montreal, Quebec. Coaching experience includes working with several provincial teams and national alpine team training opportunities. Most recently with the Ski Cross development team leading up to the 2010 games. Returned to Ski Quebec Alpin for 6 years as a course facilitator and Circuit Junior Provincial supervisor. Rejoined Alpine Canada Alpin in November of 2017 as part of the coach education team. Currently hold the position of Coach Education Manager.”
Martock Session – Thursday, Jan 10th:
PD training day for Martock coaches Jan 10th from 9am-4pm with Greg Frechette. The goal of the day is to focus on course setting for slalom and gs plus review safety and progression from u12 into first year u14. For additional details and to register please contact Thom Oulton – Thom@oulton.ca
Wentworth Sessions – Friday, Jan 11th & 12th:
Friday 8am to noon – Greg with work with club coaches during the day and Canada Games coaches as well
Friday PM with Masters coaches freestyle and spare coaches (anyone who wants to Join)
Friday night 630 to closing all the weekend coaches who work Saturday’s.
Friday’ sessions will all be on-snow.
Saturday is shadowing the coaches who are working. End of day session in the new WSRC clubhouse Greg will debrief coaches
