Part-time job
MSRC is in search of coaches for our U14 / U16 / U18 program for the 2018-19 season. We are searching for experienced and enthusiastic coaches with a love for racing to provide an excellent training environment for our keen athletes.
Our club is located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, and is a reasonable commute from Halifax, making it ideal for coaches living in either location. We have a reputation as a fun club with a dedicated group of parent volunteers supporting our programs.
Our programs are outlined on our website at www.msrc.ca. They include dryland training twice weekly from October through mid-December, two pre-season camps in Quebec, and on snow training three days a week from January through March.
Athletes take part in the Alpine Atlantic race series, travelling to races throughout Atlantic Canada, as well as Can-Am's, Whistler Cup, Eastern, and National events.
Coaches are paid based on ACA qualifications and previous race / coach experience. Travel expenses are reimbursed and additional pay is offered to the head coach for administrative duties. All coaches must be in good standing with ACA and at all times adhere to the Coaches' Code of Conduct.
Contact club president Ellen Coady at president@msrc.ca with your resume and cover letter.
