BACKGROUND INFO FOR NS K2 TEAM SELECTION CRITERIA RACE POINTS: In the K2 Selection Criteria RACE POINTS refers to either National Race Points or Nova Scotia Race Points . Nationals Race Points appear in the last column on every page of race results . National Race points will be used on the K2 spreadsheet when the winner is a NS racer NS Race Points will be used on the K2 spreadsheet when the winner of the race is not a NS athlete. The first NS athlete on the results will be given a score of zero; then that racers actual National Race points will be deducted from all other NS K2`s to give them their NS race points for that race. TIE BREAKER: In the case of a tie , the two racers National Race Points of the 7 races selected will be totaled.
